Webinar recording: The High North and foreign policy
On January 19th FNI organized a webinar on the High North and foreign policy.
This winter FNI senior researcher Andreas Østhagen was the guest editor of the Norwegian journal Internasjonal politikk on a special issue concerning the same topic. For the webinar, he invited many of the journal contributors to join him, sharing their insights on a broad spectre of matters concerning the the High North and foreign policy.
Among the speakers were prominent guests such as Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ine Marie Eriksen Søreide and leader of the opposition party Arbeiderpartiet Jonas Gahr Støre. They were joined by several esteemed researchers, senior and junior.
The webinar was held in Norwegian, but Østhagen is planning on editing a book in English on The High North and foreign policy.
